A Kentucky restaurant has put an equestrian spin on pandemic dining. Barn8, located at Hermitage Farms in the town of Goshen, has converted the horse stalls in its historic barn into private mini-dining rooms to maintain social distancing. The facility is complying with state regulations and keeping to 33% of capacity as it serves up farm-to-table meals and robust bourbon tasting experiences. No hay on the menu from what we can see... Clever!

More locally...in Westchester, The Biondi School, which educates students with learning disabilities, emotional disorders and other impairments, is using live-streamed horse therapy to comfort children over the loss of a beloved teacher's aide to the virus. The digital decompression program has been running for about four weeks, with Sky Blue Equestrian Center in Cortlandt Manor providing the gentle, iPhone-nuzzling steeds. If we've said it once, we've said it a million times--the healing power of horses!
